Vintage inspiration reimagined

The Fuzz Master General draws from the classic Ace Tone FM-2 but pushes far beyond vintage limitations. It delivers the aggressive octave-up fuzz tones of the original with enhanced clarity, broader tonal range and modern flexibility. You can explore everything from subtle overdrive to full-blown sonic destruction with dynamic response and rich analogue character.

Flexible voice control

A three-way Voice toggle offers germanium, silicon or open clipping styles to shape your fuzz. Each setting affects the gain response and tonal flavour, from loose and airy textures to tight, focused compression. The centre position bypasses clipping diodes entirely, unlocking a raw octave-up effect that borders on ring modulation for more experimental sounds.

Wide tone shaping range

Unlike older designs with limited tone options, the Fuzz Master General includes a responsive tone control for deep sculpting. Shift easily from searing highs to bass-heavy scoops with a single dial. This makes it perfect for cutting through dense mixes or dialling in saturated textures for rhythm or lead work.

Improved output and build quality

With increased output and a much lower noise floor than the original circuit, this pedal performs with clarity and punch. Built by hand in Akron, Ohio, it features top-quality components and reliable construction. Designed for consistent performance, it brings vintage-inspired fuzz into a professional modern format ready for any stage or studio.
