Antoria SG MIJ Walnut Electric Guitar, (Used)
The Antoria SG MIJ Walnut is a Japanese-made SG-style electric guitar produced under the Antoria brand during its MIJ export era, when many instruments were built in the same factories that also produced other well-known Japanese guitars of the period. It follows a double-cutaway solid-body design closely based on the SG format, with a mahogany-style body construction and a set neck joint.
The construction focuses on a lightweight, contoured body shape with deep cutaways for upper fret access, combined with a 24.75-inch scale length typical of SG-style instruments. The walnut finish is applied over a solid body, giving a darker natural wood appearance rather than a traditional burst or solid colour finish. Hardware includes a Bigsby-style tremolo and tune-o-matic-style bridge with vintage-style tuning machines.
The electronics layout follows a classic dual-humbucker configuration with independent volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector switch. The tonal output depends on the installed pickups, but the platform is built to deliver a warm midrange-focused voice with strong sustain and an open, resonant character associated with SG-style construction.
