The ESP LTD EC-1000 Vintage Black with Seymour Duncan pickups combines classic single-cut style with premium craftsmanship and versatile, organic tone. Designed for serious players, this professional-grade guitar features a mahogany body, set-thru neck construction, and a fast Thin U neck profile that delivers exceptional sustain, smooth playability, and effortless access across the fretboard.

Unlike the EMG-equipped version, this model is loaded with a Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan ’59 neck pickup, offering a more dynamic and vintage-inspired character with rich harmonics, punchy mids, and expressive clarity. The push-pull coil-splitting adds even more versatility, making the EC-1000 equally at home handling rock, blues, hard rock, and modern metal tones.

Top-quality Seymour Duncan pickups

Don't compromise when it comes to sound quality. In the EC-1000 Seymour Duncan, you'll have a guitar that ensures every note you play is delivered with scintillating clarity and electric power.

Enjoy versatile, vintage tones courtesy of the Seymour Duncan '59 neck pickup. This humbucker is ideal for giving you fullness in sound, sweet sustain, and quality at every frequency. You low-ends will be delivered with gorgeous, resonant depth. The mid-range will sound sharp and punchy, while high notes will sparkle with bite and rapid attack. The Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup is a legend of pretty much every music genre. Seymour Duncan's most popular pickup, its powerful style is well-suited to every genre from blues to funk, pop to grunge, rock to punk. The perfect electronic setup, regardless of style.

Locking bridge for perfect tone

Superb sustain and terrific tone. The ESP EC-1000 features a Tonepros bridge system to enhance your sound to the maximum. This innovative improvement to the standard tune-o-matic bridge allows both the bridge and tailpiece to be locked down using 2 small-set screws. The end result is a supremely stable bridge that always offers you perfect tone and increased sustain. Every note you play will glisten with studio-level sound quality.

Exquisite playability

The EC-1000 is one of ESP's most playable guitars yet. At every point in the design and manufacturing process, measures have been taken to ensure the ultimate playing experience.

A set-neck construction gives easy access to the very highest frets. You'll never be restricted again by notes that are difficult to hit. You'll play in complete comfort thanks to the three-piece mahogany neck's thin "U"-shaped profile. Your hand will sit comfortably at any point along the guitar's neck, meaning you can play on and on for hours without suffering cramp. 24 extra-jumbo sized frets also make hitting notes easier, making your playing area larger. You'll be able to play at extremely fast tempos knowing that you'll hit every note. A guitar so good, you'll never want to put it down.

Supreme style

A true thing of beauty. The EC-1000 is a stunningly elegant guitar that you won't be able to stop looking at. A vintage black finish is adorned with gold hardware that will glisten and shine whenever it catches the light. You've never seen an instrument as classy as this. You'll be certain to stand out on stage, and make your band mates envious with the attention you'll get when you're playing one of these. Simply divine.

Hard rock heritage

ESP Guitars are legends of the rock music world. Established in Tokyo, Japan in 1975, ESP (Electric Sound Products) initially manufactured high-quality replacement parts for guitars already on the market. These replacements became extremely popular with rock guitarists, as many users noticed that the new parts, when added to their existing guitars, afforded their instruments extra power and aggression.

Noticing their new-found popularity, ESP capitalised and decided to use their expertise to begin crafting guitars of their own. Early models were used in the music of KISS and The Rolling Stones. As years passed, ESP's guitars became increasingly popular within metal and hard rock genres. Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer, Judas Priest, and Guns N' Roses have all used the immense sound of ESPs in their music. Quality, hard rock sound favoured by the very best in the business.
