The Gibson Angus Young SG in Ebony is a USA-made signature electric guitar based on Angus Young’s long-time SG design used with AC/DC. It features a solid mahogany body with the classic double-cut SG shape, finished in gloss ebony black. The neck is also mahogany with a 24.75-inch scale length, 22 frets, and a fast-playing slim profile designed for high-speed rhythm and lead work.

The hardware uses a Tune-o-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and standard Gibson hardware layout. The construction follows the traditional SG set-neck design, which gives strong sustain and a lightweight feel compared with thicker solid-body designs. The overall build prioritises upper-fret access, with deep double cutaways that allow full reach across the fretboard.

The electronics consist of two humbucking pickups wired through a simple three-way selector switch with individual volume and tone controls.
