It features a 000-14 Fret body shape with solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, a combination that balances clarity and warmth while supporting rich resonance and projection across the tonal range. The neck is crafted from genuine mahogany with a Modified V profile and meets an ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, including distinctive abalone “diamonds and squares” inlays and Clapton’s signature inset. The scale length is shorter than many guitars at approximately 24.9 inches, providing a relaxed feel that many players find comfortable for both fingerstyle and strummed playing.
