PRS SE DGT in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst Electric Guitar, (Nearly New)

The PRS SE DGT in McCarty Tobacco Sunburst is a signature electric guitar designed in collaboration with David Grissom and built on PRS’s McCarty platform. It uses a mahogany body with a carved maple top finished in a McCarty Tobacco Sunburst gloss, paired with a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a 25-inch scale length. The neck uses the dedicated DGT profile with 22 frets and a 10-inch radius, built for a balanced feel between vintage thickness and modern playability. 

The hardware includes a PRS-designed tremolo bridge, nickel hardware, and PRS tuning machines. The construction follows a set-neck joint design that supports sustain and stability while maintaining smooth upper-fret access. The overall layout follows the McCarty-inspired geometry, with carved top shaping and traditional double-cutaway PRS styling.

The electronics use PRS DGT “S” humbuckers with a control layout of two volume controls, a master tone control with push-pull coil-splitting, and a three-way selector switch. This system provides full humbucker operation along with split-coil tones derived from the same pickup set, giving a wide range of usable sounds within a straightforward passive wiring design.
