Description
Quick Product Summary
The Fender Standard Jazz Bass in Black delivers the distinctive feel, versatility and unmistakable styling that have made the Jazz Bass a favourite across virtually every style of music. Its lightweight poplar body is paired with a comfortable Modern “C” maple neck and maple fingerboard for a responsive, familiar playing experience.
Two Fender Standard ceramic single-coil Jazz Bass pickups provide plenty of clarity, punch and definition, while individual pickup volume controls make it easy to blend warmer neck tones with the tighter attack of the bridge pickup. Finished in classic Black with a matching black pickguard, this version offers a particularly clean, understated Fender aesthetic.
What Makes the Fender Standard Jazz Bass Special?
The Jazz Bass design is renowned for versatility. With separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups alongside a master tone control, you can quickly move from full-bodied supportive bass sounds to brighter, more articulate tones without complex switching or active electronics.
A Modern “C” maple neck, 9.5" fingerboard radius and slim 1.5" nut width give the Standard Jazz Bass an accessible playing feel that's equally comfortable for developing players and experienced bassists. The four-saddle top-load bridge provides straightforward individual string adjustment, completing a dependable, traditional Fender setup.
