Roland KC-220 Stereo Keyboard Combo Amplifier – Battery or Mains
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland KC-220 is a compact, portable stereo keyboard amplifier designed for musicians who need quality sound without being tied to a mains socket. Delivering up to 30 watts of stereo power on mains operation, it combines two 6.5-inch woofers and two tweeters with flexible onboard mixing and useful digital effects.
Run it from eight AA batteries or mains power, connect multiple keyboards, a microphone and backing tracks, and take advantage of its built-in tilt-back stand for effective monitoring. It is an extremely versatile choice for rehearsals, busking, lessons, small performances and mobile keyboard setups.
What Makes the Roland KC-220 Special?
The KC-220 combines genuine stereo amplification with exceptional portability. Its twin speaker system gives stage pianos, synthesisers, organs, rhythm machines and other electronic instruments a spacious sound, while three independent input channels make it easy to build a compact performance setup without carrying a separate mixer.
Battery operation makes the KC-220 particularly useful away from conventional performance spaces. Built-in reverb and two chorus effects add extra flexibility, while the XLR microphone input, auxiliary connections, stereo line outputs and headphone socket mean it can function as much more than a straightforward keyboard amplifier.
Who Is It For?
The Roland KC-220 is ideal for keyboard players, singer-keyboardists, buskers, teachers, rehearsal spaces and musicians who regularly perform in locations where mains power may not be readily available.
Its stereo design is particularly useful for modern digital pianos, synthesisers and keyboards with stereo sounds and effects, while the microphone and auxiliary inputs make it a practical compact amplification system for solo performers.
