Roland KC-600 Keyboard Combo Amplifier 200 Watts
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland KC-600 is a powerful 200-watt keyboard combo amplifier designed for stage pianos, synthesisers, organs, drum machines and other electronic instruments. Its custom two-way speaker system combines a newly developed 15-inch woofer with a horn tweeter, delivering the wide frequency response and strong low-end performance required by modern keyboards.
A versatile onboard mixer provides four stereo input channels, auxiliary connectivity and an XLR microphone input, while balanced XLR and 1/4-inch line outputs make integration with professional PA systems straightforward. Stereo Link also allows a second KC-600 to be connected for expanded inputs and true stereo amplification.
What Makes the Roland KC-600 Special?
Keyboard amplification needs to reproduce everything from deep acoustic piano fundamentals and organ bass to bright synthesiser leads without colouring the instrument excessively. The KC-600's redesigned 200W power section and custom 15-inch woofer deliver powerful full-range reproduction, while Roland's twin bass-reflex cabinet design provides extended low-frequency response.
The built-in stereo mixer also makes the KC-600 considerably more flexible than a conventional instrument amplifier. Multiple keyboards, electronic instruments, backing tracks and a vocal microphone can all be connected simultaneously, while Channel 4's Output Select facility is particularly useful for routing click tracks and guide signals in live performance setups.
Who Is It For?
The Roland KC-600 is ideal for gigging keyboard players, stage pianists, synthesiser players, electronic musicians and performers who need powerful full-range amplification with extensive connectivity.
Its onboard mixer also makes it particularly useful for multi-keyboard rigs, rehearsal spaces, teaching environments and compact performance setups where several sound sources need to be handled by one amplifier.

FAQs
How powerful is the Roland KC-600?
The KC-600 delivers 200 watts of rated output power, providing considerably more headroom than a small practice keyboard amplifier and making it suitable for rehearsals and live performance.
What size speaker does the KC-600 use?
It features a custom-designed 15-inch woofer paired with a horn tweeter for full-range reproduction.
Can I connect more than one keyboard?
Yes. The onboard mixer provides four stereo input channels, allowing several keyboards, synthesisers or other electronic instruments to be connected simultaneously.
Can I connect a microphone?
Yes. Channel 1 includes a balanced XLR microphone input, making it possible to connect a compatible vocal microphone alongside your keyboards.
Can I use the KC-600 with a stage piano?
Yes. Its 15-inch woofer, 200W amplifier and full-range design make it particularly well suited to 88-note stage pianos and other instruments requiring strong low-frequency reproduction.
Does the KC-600 have stereo speakers?
The KC-600 itself uses a single two-way speaker system. However, connecting a second KC-600 via Stereo Link creates a true stereo amplification system.
What does Stereo Link do?
Stereo Link connects two compatible KC-600 amplifiers together. Stereo instrument signals are divided between the two amplifiers, while the additional amp also increases the number of available inputs.
Can I connect the KC-600 to a PA system?
Yes. Both balanced XLR and 1/4-inch line outputs are provided for sending the KC-600's mixed signal to a PA, mixer or compatible recording system.
Does it have a subwoofer output?
Yes. A dedicated Sub Out allows a compatible powered subwoofer to be added when additional low-frequency reinforcement is required.
Can I play backing tracks through the KC-600?
Yes. Stereo RCA and stereo mini-jack auxiliary inputs allow compatible smartphones, tablets, music players and backing-track devices to be connected.
Does the KC-600 have EQ controls?
Yes. A master three-band EQ with Low, Middle and High controls is provided, together with a Shape switch for additional tonal adjustment.
What is Channel 4's Output Select function for?
It allows Channel 4 to be used for specialised monitoring applications, such as a click or guide track, providing more control over whether that signal is included in the main output mix.
Are wheels included?
Yes. The KC-600 includes four removable casters, making the 29kg cabinet easier to move between rehearsal rooms, stages and storage areas.
Does the KC-600 require an external power adaptor?
No. It features an internal AC power supply, so a separate external adaptor is not required.
Is the KC-600 only for keyboards?
No. Although designed specifically for keyboards, its full-range speaker system and multiple inputs also make it suitable for synthesisers, electronic percussion, drum machines, backing tracks and other electronic musical instruments.
