Roland LX-5 Digital Upright Piano Dark Rosewood
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland LX-5-DR Digital Upright Piano in Dark Rosewood combines premium piano technology with an elegant upright-style cabinet designed for the home. Roland's Piano Reality Modeling sound engine, PHA-50 hybrid keyboard and four-speaker Piano Reality Projection system work together to deliver an expressive and immersive playing experience.
The rich Dark Rosewood finish gives the LX-5-DR a traditional furniture-inspired appearance, while Bluetooth connectivity, USB audio/MIDI, onboard recording and Roland Piano App compatibility add useful modern features for practice, learning and everyday playing.
What Makes the Roland LX-5-DR Special?
The LX-5 uses Roland's Piano Reality Modeling technology to recreate the complex tonal interactions of an acoustic piano rather than simply relying on conventional sampled notes. Combined with the 88-note PHA-50 Hybrid Keyboard, High Precision Sensing, escapement and Ebony/Ivory Feel surfaces, the instrument responds naturally to subtle changes in touch and dynamics.
Its four-speaker Piano Reality Projection system spreads sound throughout the cabinet and room, while Piano Reality Ambience recreates environments including Studio, Lounge, Concert Hall and Cathedral. Progressive Damper Action pedals and extensive Piano Designer controls provide further expressive detail for pianists who want to personalise the instrument to their playing style.
Who Is It For?
The Roland LX-5-DR is an excellent choice for progressing students, experienced pianists and families looking for a premium digital upright with an authentic weighted keyboard and sophisticated acoustic-piano response.
Its headphone capability, adjustable volume and maintenance-free digital design also make it particularly practical for home environments where quiet practice and freedom from regular acoustic piano tuning are important.
