Roland PDS-20 Pad Stand
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland PDS-20 Pad Stand provides a strong, stable and highly adjustable mounting solution for compatible Roland SPD-series percussion pads and HandSonic instruments. Designed as the upgraded successor to the PDS-10, it features heavier-duty construction, double-braced steel legs and larger rubber feet for increased stability during energetic performances.
An adjustable mounting plate and flexible clamp system make it easy to set your percussion instrument at a comfortable playing height and angle, whether performing seated or standing. Durable enough for regular gigging yet straightforward to position, the PDS-20 is an excellent addition to a professional electronic percussion setup.
What Makes the Roland PDS-20 Special?
The PDS-20 improves on Roland's earlier PDS-10 design with double-braced steel legs that are approximately 33% thicker, together with larger rubber feet for increased stability. The chrome-plated tripod construction creates a secure platform for compatible electronic percussion instruments without making positioning unnecessarily complicated.
A durable coated mounting plate and adjustable clamp system provide flexible height and angle adjustment, allowing players to tailor their setup for seated practice, standing performance or integration alongside an acoustic or electronic drum kit.
Who Is It For?
The Roland PDS-20 is ideal for electronic percussionists, drummers, live performers, producers and musicians using Roland SPD-series or HandSonic instruments.
It is particularly useful for players who want a dedicated free-standing solution rather than attaching their percussion pad to an existing drum rack or hardware setup.
