1994 Heritage H-550 Custom in Sunburst Hollow-body Electric Guitar, USED
The 1994 Heritage H-550 Custom in Sunburst is a U.S.-made full hollowbody electric guitar, built in Kalamazoo with construction and appointments rooted firmly in classic archtop tradition. It features a laminated maple body with a carved top and back, finished in a rich Sunburst that highlights the archtop curves and vintage styling. The fully hollow construction delivers open resonance, warmth, and natural acoustic bloom.
The set mahogany neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and traditional block inlays on a 24.75-inch scale, offering a smooth, familiar feel ideal for jazz, blues, and clean expressive playing. The neck profile and balance make it comfortable both seated and standing, with excellent access across the fretboard.
Electronics consist of dual humbuckers, providing warm, articulate tone with rounded lows and clear highs, well suited to jazz chord work and smooth lead lines. Controls follow a traditional layout with individual Volume and Tone controls and a three-way pickup selector. Hardware includes a floating bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and quality tuning machines, completing a refined hollowbody instrument known for depth, clarity, and classic American craftsmanship.
