Fender Special Edition Mustang in Faded Mocha Electric Guitar, (Used)

The Fender Special Edition Mustang in Faded Mocha is a short-scale offset solid-body electric guitar built with an alder body finished in gloss polyester and a bolt-on maple neck with a 24-inch scale length. It uses a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, 22 frets, and a bone nut with a 42 mm width. The neck is shaped in an oval “C” profile and finished in satin polyurethane, while the body retains the compact Mustang offset contour designed for ergonomic playing.

The stock hardware specification includes a six-saddle strings-through-body hardtail-style bridge with bent steel saddles and sealed Fender locking tuning machines. The control layout is designed around a simple volume and tone system with a three-position pickup selector. In this configuration, the guitar’s construction supports stable intonation and consistent string tension suited to the shorter scale length design.

In the modified configuration, the electronics are replaced with Seymour Duncan SCR-1N in the neck position and SHR-1B in the bridge position. The SCR-1N is a stacked single-coil-sized rail humbucker designed for a noiseless neck response, while the SHR-1B is a high-output ceramic rail humbucker designed for the bridge position with increased output and focused midrange. The wiring maintains a standard selector control layout, combining the Mustang platform with higher-output humbucking functionality across both positions.
