The Ibanez GSR180 in Baltic Blue Metallic is a solid-body 4-string electric bass from the GIO Soundgear series, designed as an entry-level instrument based on Ibanez’s SR platform. It features a contoured poplar body finished in gloss metallic blue, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and a purpleheart fingerboard. The bass uses a 34-inch scale length with 22 medium frets and a slim GSR4 neck profile intended for fast, comfortable playability.

The construction follows the familiar Soundgear ergonomic design, with a lightweight body shape aimed at reducing fatigue during longer playing sessions. The neck joint is a bolt-on design, and the fingerboard radius is around 305 mm, giving a relatively flat feel suitable for modern bass techniques.
