The body of the Goldstar 55 is made from alder, a tonewood known for its balanced sound and clear resonance. The dark green finish, complemented by the matching headstock, adds a unique and striking visual appeal, setting it apart from other vintage-style guitars. This cohesive colour scheme is not only aesthetically pleasing but also indicative of the attention to detail that Tokai puts into their instruments.

Equipped with three single-coil pickups, the Goldstar 55 delivers the classic Stratocaster sound. These pickups are designed to capture the bright, crisp tones and the dynamic range that Strat enthusiasts love. The traditional five-way pickup selector switch allows for a wide variety of tonal options, making this guitar versatile enough for almost any musical genre.

The neck of the Goldstar 55 is crafted from maple and features a comfortable C-shaped profile, reminiscent of the vintage Stratocaster necks. The vintage-style tuners and synchronized tremolo bridge not only contribute to the guitar's authentic look but also ensure stable tuning and reliable performance.

In summary, the Tokai Goldstar 55 from the early '80s in Dark Green with a matching headstock is a remarkable instrument that combines vintage aesthetics with superior craftsmanship. Its alder body, classic single-coil pickups, and comfortable neck make it a joy to play, while its unique finish ensures it stands out on any stage.
