The Mooer TresCab is a compact cabinet simulator pedal for electric guitar that digitally recreates the sound characteristics of different speaker setups without needing a physical speaker cabinet. It offers five selectable cabinet models—including small combos like 1×8″ and 1×10″, open‑back 1×12″ and 2×12″, and a closed‑back 4×12″ stack—allowing players to tailor their tone for direct‑to‑board, interface, or PA use. A rotary CAB selector switches between these models, giving a range of tonal footprints from tighter small cab sounds to full‑bodied stack emulations.

The pedal includes a mode switch with two tone-shaping approaches. In EQ mode, dedicated controls adjust low and high frequencies to sculpt bass and treble response, while in Mic mode the same controls simulate microphone placement relative to the virtual cabinet, affecting perceived distance and presence. Standard 1/4″ input and output jacks connect with typical guitar and rig setups, and true bypass circuitry ensures your original signal remains unaffected when the effect is off.

Housed in a rugged metal enclosure with a small footprint, the TresCab is powered by a standard 9 V DC centre‑negative power supply (sold separately) and draws around 128 mA of current. Its compact dimensions and lightweight design make it easy to integrate into a pedalboard, and the variety of cabinet models and tone controls provide flexible direct recording or live tone shaping options without bulky amps or speaker cabs.
