Roland AX-EDGE-W Keytar Shoulder Keyboard Controller - White
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland AX-EDGE-W is a professional 49-note shoulder keyboard built for musicians who want to move beyond the traditional keyboard stand and take centre stage. Finished in striking White, it combines Roland's powerful ZEN-Core sound engine with a full-size velocity-sensitive keyboard, channel aftertouch and performance-focused controls.
With over 500 preset tones, four sound parts plus vocoder, ribbon and modulation controllers, MIDI master-keyboard functionality and optional battery operation, the AX-EDGE is designed for expressive live performance while remaining equally capable as a controller for external synths, modules and software instruments.
What Makes the Roland AX-EDGE-W Special?
The AX-EDGE is designed from the ground up for live keytar performance. Its 49 full-size keys provide a familiar playing surface, while channel aftertouch, a ribbon controller, modulation bar, assignable buttons and a dedicated control knob put expressive sound shaping directly under your hands while performing.
Its ZEN-Core sound engine provides an extensive collection of performance-ready sounds, while seamless Tone Remain switching helps prevent notes from being unnaturally cut off when changing programs. Add a built-in vocoder, microphone input, arpeggiator, USB song playback and customisable Edge Blade panels, and the AX-EDGE becomes a highly flexible stage instrument.
Who Is It For?
The Roland AX-EDGE-W is ideal for keyboard players, synthesiser performers, touring musicians, electronic artists and front-of-stage performers who want freedom to move around during live shows.
Its MIDI master-controller functions also make it suitable for musicians who want to control external sound modules, software instruments and additional MIDI equipment from a performance-focused shoulder keyboard.
