Roland GP-9M-PE Digital Grand Piano Polished Ebony
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Roland GP-9M-PE is Roland’s flagship digital grand piano, combining advanced piano technology with the commanding presence of a premium grand piano cabinet. Finished in elegant Polished Ebony, it is designed for discerning home players, professional pianists and high-end commercial environments.
At its heart are Roland’s Piano Reality Modeling sound engine, 88-note Hybrid Grand keyboard and Piano Reality Projection speaker system. The GP-9M also features self-moving keys, professional XLR outputs and a dedicated microphone input, making it equally capable as a serious performance instrument and an automated entertainment piano.
What Makes the Roland GP-9M-PE Special?
The GP-9M is designed to deliver the expressive response and immersive sound of a concert grand without the tuning and maintenance requirements of an acoustic piano. Its Hybrid Grand keyboard combines progressive hammer action, escapement, Ebony/Ivory Feel surfaces, high-precision sensing and haptic key vibration, while Piano Reality Modeling recreates the detailed interaction of strings, resonance, cabinet behaviour and pedalling.
Its defining feature is the moving-key system, which allows compatible onboard songs, MIDI files and player-piano content to physically operate the keyboard during playback. Combined with an eight-speaker projection system, Bluetooth connectivity, microphone input and assignable professional XLR outputs, the GP-9M is exceptionally well suited to luxury homes, hotels, restaurants, event spaces and premium entertainment venues.
Who Is It For?
The Roland GP-9M-PE is ideal for advanced pianists, professional musicians and discerning home players looking for flagship digital piano performance in a grand piano format.
Its automated moving-key capability and professional connectivity also make it particularly suitable for hotels, restaurants, hospitality venues, performance spaces and entertainment environments where the piano can provide both live and automated performances.
