The PD-12P 12" snare pad uses a multi-sensor layout for precise tracking, making ghost notes, rimshots and dynamic rolls feel natural and consistent. Toms include the PD-8H and PD-10H, with inset rims that reduce hotspots and offer a clean look. Combined with the VH-10 hi-hats and larger 16" ride cymbal, the entire kit delivers a balanced feel that mirrors acoustic play.

V51 module with flagship sound engine

At the centre of the TD513 is the V51 module, featuring the same sound engine used in Roland’s top-tier 7 Series kits. It’s packed with over 200 kits and 1,000+ instruments, with advanced layering, transient shaping, and pad EQ per zone. With DW-sampled instruments, round-robin triggering, and detailed dynamic response, the V51 creates a natural, acoustic-like feel—ready for both studio and stage use.

Built-in coaching and practice tools

The module includes a full coaching suite with tools like Time Check, Quiet Count, Stroke Monitor, Phrase Trainer and a new Blast Beat Trainer to build stamina. These tools provide valuable feedback on your timing, stick control, and speed, helping drummers sharpen their technique between sessions or gigs.

Flexible setup with digital expansion and cloud content

With support for up to three digital pads, the TD513 can evolve alongside your playing. Add a digital snare, ride or hi-hat for ultra-sensitive expression. You also get wireless access to Roland Cloud, where you can download new kits, genre packs and instruments directly into the module. With USB audio, MIDI I/O, and multichannel recording, this kit is built for live performance, home practice and studio tracking alike.
