Description
Quick Product Summary
The Schecter C-6 Plus in Charcoal Burst combines distinctive figured looks with the fast, comfortable playability that makes the C-series such a popular choice for modern guitarists. Its basswood body is topped with quilted maple, while a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a responsive feel across the familiar 25.5" scale.
A pair of Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers delivers plenty of output for rock, alternative and heavier styles while remaining versatile enough for cleaner sounds. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, a Thin “C” neck profile and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body construction, the C-6 Plus is an excellent choice for developing players who want an instrument they can continue using as their playing progresses.

What Makes the Schecter C-6 Plus Special?
The C-6 Plus offers a noticeable step up visually from a basic entry-level electric guitar. Its quilted maple top beneath the Charcoal Burst finish, bevelled body edge and chrome hardware give it a polished contemporary appearance, while the Thin “C” maple neck, 14" radius rosewood fingerboard and 24 X-Jumbo frets provide the comfortable modern feel associated with Schecter.
Dual Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers give the guitar a full, powerful voice capable of handling distortion and higher-gain sounds particularly well. The straightforward volume, tone and three-way switching layout keeps operation simple, while the fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge and string-through construction make the C-6 Plus easy to live with for practice, rehearsal, recording and live use.
Who Is It For?
The Schecter C-6 Plus is an excellent option for beginners, developing players and intermediate guitarists who want a versatile modern instrument rather than a basic starter guitar. Its comfortable neck, 24-fret layout and straightforward fixed bridge provide plenty of room for players to develop more advanced techniques.
It is particularly well suited to rock, hard rock, alternative and metal, although its dual-humbucker configuration can also produce useful clean and lower-gain sounds for more general-purpose playing.
Why Choose A Dual-Humbucker Electric Guitar?
Humbuckers produce a fuller and generally more powerful sound than traditional single-coil pickups while also reducing unwanted electrical hum. This makes them especially popular with players who use overdrive, distortion and high-gain amplifier sounds.
A dual-humbucker layout also provides useful contrast between the brighter, more direct bridge position and the warmer neck position, making it easy to move between rhythm, lead and cleaner sounds without complicating the control layout.
How Does It Compare?
Compared With The Schecter C-6 Deluxe
The C-6 Plus adds a quilted maple top and more visually detailed finish treatment, making it an appealing choice for players who want the accessible C-6 platform with a more premium appearance.
Compared With A Floyd Rose-Equipped Guitar
The C-6 Plus uses a fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge rather than a locking tremolo. It cannot perform dive bombs or tremolo effects, but restringing, tuning changes and everyday setup are considerably more straightforward, making it a practical choice for players who do not need a tremolo system.
