The Schecter SLS Evil Twin Bass is designed as a darker, more aggressive counterpart to the SLS Elite, combining modern aesthetics with advanced construction. It features a swamp ash body paired with an ultra-access cutaway, allowing comfortable and unrestricted playing across the entire neck. The overall design focuses on balance, sustain, and ease of play, while the visual presentation emphasizes a stripped-back, sinister character suited to contemporary performance environments.

At the core of the instrument is a carbon fibre reinforced, seven-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck-thru construction, delivering exceptional stability and sustain. The ultra-thin Thin C neck profile with a 16″ radius is matched to an ebony fingerboard fitted with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and Roman numeral inlays. A 35″ scale length provides enhanced string tension and clarity, particularly beneficial for extended-range and low-tuned playing, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut supports consistent tuning and resonance.

Electronics are centered around a pair of Fishman Fluence Bass soapbar pickups, offering a wide and articulate tonal range. The control layout includes a master volume with push-pull single-coil functionality, a blend control, a 2-band Fishman EQ, and a three-way voicing toggle that switches between Classic, Funk, and Modern modes. Hardware is completed with a Schecter custom bass bridge that supports both string-through-body and top-load configurations, providing flexibility in feel, sustain, and setup preferences.
