The SQOE SEIB-7S is a seven-string solidbody electric guitar designed for extended-range playing, featuring a poplar body paired with a Canadian roasted maple neck for improved stability and resistance to environmental changes. It has a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and is built with a modern double-cutaway shape to allow full access across the extended fret range. The matte finish reflects its contemporary design approach while keeping the instrument lightweight and suited to modern performance use. 

The electronics consist of dual SQOE humbucking pickups configured for high-output performance, paired with active circuitry and a “lift cut” (coil-split) function that allows switching between full humbucker output and a more single-coil-like response. Controls include a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector switch, providing straightforward tonal shaping while supporting a range of sounds from tight low-end rhythm tones to clearer lead voicings. This configuration is intended to handle lower tunings and extended frequency response typical of 7-string instruments.

Hardware includes a fixed 7-string bridge with through-body stringing, contributing to sustain and tuning stability, along with black-plated locking tuners designed to maintain consistent tuning under higher string tension. The overall construction focuses on reliability, modern ergonomics, and extended-range capability, making it suitable for styles that require low tunings and precise articulation while maintaining a relatively simple control layout.
