The 1978 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe is a classic instrument that exudes vintage charm and exceptional playability. Crafted with precision and attention to detail, this guitar boasts a timeless combination of materials and features that have made it a cherished icon among musicians.

The body of this Les Paul Deluxe is constructed from mahogany, known for its warm and resonant tonal properties. The maple neck complements the body's tonewood, providing stability and a bright edge to the guitar's sound.

Its distinctive appearance is enhanced by a maple top finished in a captivating Wine Red finish, giving it an elegant and visually striking look that's characteristic of the era.

The rosewood fretboard hosts 22 frets, offering a comfortable and familiar playing surface for both lead and rhythm guitarists. The combination of the mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard contributes to the guitar's rich and balanced tonal palette.

The Les Paul Deluxe is equipped with two Mini-Humbuckers, which offer a unique sonic character. These pickups provide a slightly brighter and more focused sound compared to traditional humbuckers, making them ideal for players seeking a distinctive tonal signature.

The hardware on this vintage Les Paul Deluxe is adorned with chrome plating, adding a touch of shine and durability to the overall aesthetic. It features a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, which allows for precise intonation adjustments, ensuring your guitar stays in tune across the fretboard.

The 1978 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe is a piece of guitar history, featuring a mahogany body, maple top, rosewood fretboard, Mini-Humbuckers, and chrome hardware. Its Wine Red finish and iconic design make it not only a sonic powerhouse but also a visual delight for players and fans of classic rock tones.

Condition:

For a guitar that's 45 years old, we'd say it's aging beautifully! It sure has it's fair share of scratches, dinks and signs of wear. We believe this guitar has had some potentiometer replacements, which is why it has non-matching knobs. It'd also be fair to say all of these marks add to the charm of this vintage gem!
