1991 Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette in sunburst Electric Guitar, (Used)
The 1991 Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette in sunburst is an early U.S.-made solid-body electric guitar built during the first years of Music Man’s post-Ernie Ball production era. It uses a compact double-cutaway body design with a bolt-on birdseye maple neck, a 25.5-inch scale length, and a highly contoured heel construction intended for fast upper-fret access and modern playability.
This SSS version is fitted with three single-coil pickups arranged through a 5-way selector switch with master volume and tone controls. The pickup layout delivers bright, articulate response with clear high-end detail, scooped in-between positions, and a smooth neck tone suited for clean and edge-of-breakup playing.
The hardware includes a vintage-style tremolo bridge and locking Schaller tuning machines, producing strong tuning stability and precise feel under vibrato use. Early Silhouettes became known for their extremely stable neck construction, compact ergonomic body shape, and refined modern interpretation of the super-strat format.
