Gretsch G6129T Silver Sparkle Electric Guitar, (Used)

The Gretsch G6129T Silver Sparkle is a solid-body electric guitar from Gretsch’s Professional Collection Jet series, recognised for its chambered construction and metallic sparkle finish. It typically features a chambered mahogany body with an arched laminated maple top, paired with a set maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The instrument uses a 24.6-inch scale length with 22 medium jumbo frets and a 12-inch fingerboard radius, combining traditional Gretsch dimensions with modern playability.

The electronics consist of two Filter'Tron-style humbucking pickups, TV Jones TV Classic models. Controls include individual pickup volume knobs, master volume, master tone, and a three-way selector switch. This layout provides a wide range of tonal combinations, from clear and articulate neck sounds to brighter bridge response, while maintaining the focused output associated with Filter'Tron pickup design. 

Hardware includes an Adjusto-Matic bridge with pinned base, a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, and Gotoh die-cast tuning machines for tuning stability and smooth vibrato operation. The Silver Sparkle finish is a gloss metallic coating applied over the carved top, paired with nickel hardware and a matching silver pickguard on many versions. Overall construction reflects the Jet series approach of combining Gretsch hollow-body tonal character with a more compact solid-body format.
