The Epiphone Casino in Sunburst is a fully hollowbody electric guitar originally introduced in 1961, built around a laminated maple body with no centre block, which gives it a more open and resonant acoustic character compared to semi-hollow designs. It features a set mahogany neck with a SlimTaper 60s “C” profile, a 24.75-inch scale length, and a 12-inch radius fingerboard with 22 frets, providing a comfortable, vintage-style playing feel.

Electronics consist of two dogear-style PRO P-90 single-coil pickups, controlled via independent volume and tone knobs for each pickup along with a three-way selector switch. This setup delivers a distinctive tonal profile with strong midrange presence, clear attack, and a slightly compressed edge typical of P-90 pickups, making it suitable for clean, driven, and edge-of-breakup tones.

Hardware includes a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge paired with a trapeze tailpiece, which contributes to the guitar’s airy resonance and looser string feel compared to stopbar designs.
