Take the hassle out of selling your unwanted instrument

At Fair Deal Music, we take the hassle out of selling old, rarely used or unwanted instruments. If you have a guitar, piano, drums, violin, flute, trumpet, clarinet or another kind of instrument that you no longer want we will give you a realistic value. The better the condition of your instrument, the higher the price. We sell old instruments in our shop and online, giving your instrument a new home..

Once you have submitted details of your instrument we will get back to you with our valuation offer as quickly as possible. If you choose to accept our offer we will then send you a box within which to ship your instrument to us. Once we’ve received the instrument we will then pay you the agreed fee immediately by bank transfer. Alternatively, if you’re local to Birmingham or visiting the city, you can pop into our city centre store.

What factors influence the value of an instrument?

As a general rule, the older the instrument and the more use it has had, the lower the price is likely to be. This doesn’t apply if the instrument is rare or a collector’s item, in which case the value can rise.
