BOSS GX-100 Multi-effects Processor, (Used)

The BOSS GX-100 is a floor-based multi-effects processor built around BOSS AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) amplifier modelling technology, designed for guitar and bass applications with extensive routing and real-time control capability. It combines amp simulation, speaker cabinet processing, effects chains, USB audio functionality, and MIDI integration within a compact metal chassis.

The processing system includes a wide range of amplifier models, speaker simulations, drives, modulation effects, delays, reverbs, pitch processing, EQ sections, and dynamic processors derived from the GT-1000 platform. AIRD modelling is designed to reproduce amplifier response, speaker interaction, and playing dynamics with a more amp-like feel compared with earlier COSM-based systems. The unit supports flexible parallel routing, multiple signal paths, assignable control functions, and external effects loop integration.

The control layout centres around a large colour touchscreen combined with footswitches, rotary encoders, and an onboard expression pedal. It supports patch-based operation with deep parameter editing, scene switching, USB recording and re-amping, stereo outputs, MIDI control, and IR loading for cabinet simulation management.
