Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom Ebony Electric Guitar, (Used)

The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom Ebony is a single cutaway electric guitar developed in collaboration with Gibson Custom, combining traditional Les Paul Custom specifications with premium modern construction. Finished in Ebony with multi-ply binding and gold hardware, this model features a solid mahogany body with a maple top, delivering the classic appearance associated with the iconic “Black Beauty” design. The one-piece mahogany neck is fitted with a long neck tenon and a Modern Medium C profile, while the ebony fingerboard features mother-of-pearl block inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets and a 24.75" scale length for a familiar Les Paul playing experience.

The electronics comprise Gibson USA 490R and 498T humbucker pickups, providing authentic Gibson Les Paul Custom performance and tonal versatility. Hand-wired electronics include CTS potentiometers, Switchcraft components and Mallory capacitors, while controls consist of independent volume and tone controls for each pickup alongside a three-way selector switch. Additional specifications include a Graph Tech nut, Grover Rotomatic tuners, a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece, all finished in gold to complement the traditional Les Paul Custom aesthetic.

As part of the Inspired by Gibson Custom Collection, the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom Ebony incorporates many of the appointments found on higher-end Gibson Custom models, including the Gibson-style open-book headstock, split diamond headstock inlay and premium ebony fingerboard.
