The Fender Classic Series ’50s Precision Bass in 2-Tone Sunburst is a Mexican-made vintage-inspired reissue of Fender’s early Precision Bass design, produced as part of the Classic Series line. It features an alder body with a gloss 2-Tone Sunburst finish, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and maple fingerboard. The instrument is built to a 34-inch scale length with 20 frets, using a traditional C-shaped neck profile and a 7.25-inch fingerboard radius to reflect early Fender specifications. 

The construction follows a simplified, early-era Precision Bass layout, focusing on a solid, single-pickup design with traditional passive operation. It uses a split single-coil Precision Bass pickup configuration, providing the familiar mid-forward tone and balanced string response associated with the model. Controls are minimal, consisting of a single volume and tone control for straightforward signal shaping.

Hardware includes a vintage-style four-saddle bridge, chrome hardware, and a maple neck with a glossy finish, designed to match the aesthetic and feel of 1950s-era Fender instruments.
