Introducing The Fender Standard Series

The Fender Standard series is the latest series of guitars released by Fender after the Player II series that came out in July 2024. If you’re looking for a new guitar with the quality that comes with Fender, look no further; this is the series for you.

The whole Standard Series range contains the Stratocaster and Stratocaster HSS, the Telecaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass, designed to be accessible and affordable to any aspiring musician.

The Standard series improves a lot on entry-level guitars like the Classic Vibe range and incorporates some features from the more intermediate-level Player II series, making the Standard Series a lovely middle ground to bridge that gap.

The gloss polyurethane on the standard series is the same as you’d get on a Classic Vibe. However, it is less durable than you’d find on the more expensive Player II series, but the satin chrome saddles will help keep that rust at bay compared to a Player II series.

The Player II and Standard Series use the “modern C” style neck compared to the classic vibe with a medium jumbo fret size on the Standard series, which is more in-line with the Player II
series.
