Description

Quick Product Summary

The Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad is a professional performance and sampling instrument built for drummers, percussionists and live musicians. With nine velocity-sensitive pads, 16GB of internal storage, extensive audio routing and powerful onboard effects, it makes it easy to trigger samples, backing tracks, loops, clicks and one-shot sounds directly from your drum setup.

Designed for demanding stage use, the SPD-SX combines rugged construction with flexible sampling and connectivity. Sounds can be recorded directly into the unit or imported via USB, while external trigger inputs allow the setup to expand with additional Roland pads and drum triggers.

What Makes the Roland SPD-SX Special?

The SPD-SX has become a familiar sight in professional hybrid drum setups because it brings samples, loops and backing material within immediate reach of the performer. Its nine responsive rubber pads feature individual LED indicators, while up to 100 kits allow different sounds and configurations to be prepared for songs, sets and performance situations.

Its sampling capabilities go far beyond simple playback. Audio can be captured through the analogue inputs, imported via USB and edited directly on the unit, while three effects engines provide extensive sound-shaping options. Separate Master and Sub outputs also make it possible to route sounds independently for more sophisticated live and studio setups.
