Fender FA-230E Concert Acoustic Guitar, Shell Pink, (Damaged)

The Fender FA-230E Shell Pink is a limited-edition concert-sized electro-acoustic guitar featuring a laminated spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides. Finished in a high-gloss Shell Pink polyurethane finish, the guitar is distinguished by synthetic tortoiseshell binding, a matching aesthetic throughout the body and a modern Fender 3+3 headstock design. The nato neck is paired with a walnut fingerboard, offering a comfortable playing surface across 20 frets and a 643mm (25.3") scale length.

The guitar is equipped with a Fishman CD-1 electronic system incorporating an undersaddle piezo pickup, onboard tuner and tone controls for amplified performance. Additional specifications include a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and saddle, chrome open-gear tuning machines, a walnut Viking-style bridge and a 43mm nut width. The concert body shape provides a compact playing experience while maintaining balanced projection and response suitable for a variety of playing styles.

This particular example has previously sustained a neck break in the area of the scarf joint. The damage has since been professionally repaired and the neck has been securely glued back together, restoring the structural integrity of the instrument.
