Sanox Eagle Bass Copy Red Electric Bass Guitar, (Used, Comm)
Description
The Sanox Eagle Bass Copy in Red is an unusual vintage-style electric bass inspired by the distinctive Eagle body shape, combining an eye-catching double-cutaway design with an uncommon dual split-coil pickup configuration.
Rather than using a conventional Precision/Jazz-style pickup combination, this example is factory-equipped with two stock split-coil pickups, positioned in the middle and bridge positions. This gives the bass a distinctive visual layout and the potential for a broader range of muscular split-coil bass sounds than a conventional single-pickup design.
This Pre-Owned example is finished in Red, is in Very Good condition, weighs an actual 9.06 lbs, and is supplied without a case.

PRE-OWNED CONDITION REPORT
This is a Pre-Owned Sanox Eagle Bass Copy in Very Good condition.
The Very Good condition grade reflects an instrument that has been well looked after overall while showing the signs of previous use expected from a Pre-Owned bass.
Importantly, the unusual two split-coil pickups are stock to the bass, rather than later replacement or modified pickups.
This individual bass weighs 9.06 lbs.
No case is included.
STOCK DUAL SPLIT-COIL PICKUPS
One of the most interesting features of this Sanox is its unusual factory pickup configuration.
The bass is fitted with two stock split-coil pickups, with one positioned in the middle and the second closer to the bridge.
This is considerably less common than the familiar single split-coil Precision Bass layout and gives the instrument a particularly distinctive appearance.
The fact that both pickups are original stock features of the bass is worth highlighting, as the layout could otherwise easily be mistaken for a later modification.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT
The Sanox Eagle stands out immediately from more conventional Precision- and Jazz-style basses.
Its Eagle-inspired body design gives it plenty of vintage character, while the unusual dual split-coil layout provides a genuinely different pickup configuration.
For players who enjoy discovering lesser-known vintage and vintage-inspired instruments, this is exactly the sort of bass that offers something outside the usual mainstream choices.
DETAILED FEATURES & BENEFITS
Eagle-Inspired Body Shape
The Sanox uses the distinctive sweeping double-cutaway styling associated with the Eagle bass format.
It gives the instrument a much more individual appearance than a conventional Fender-inspired bass.
Red Finish
The Red finish emphasises the unusual body shape and gives the bass a bold stage presence.
Four-String Configuration
The traditional four-string layout keeps the instrument familiar and straightforward for players coming from most standard electric basses.
Dual Split-Coil Pickups
The defining feature of this bass is its pair of split-coil pickups.
Split-coil designs are strongly associated with punchy mids, substantial low end and good resistance to electrical hum.
Middle Pickup
The middle-position split coil should provide the fuller and rounder voice of the two pickup positions.
Its placement closer to the centre of the string length naturally favours a thicker response.
Bridge Pickup
The bridge-position split coil offers a more unusual take on the split-coil format.
Its position closer to the bridge should emphasise additional attack and definition compared with the middle pickup.
Stock Pickup Configuration
Both split-coil pickups are factory stock to the instrument.
This is an important detail because the layout is uncommon enough that it could easily appear to be a later modification.
9.06 lbs Actual Weight
This individual bass weighs 9.06 lbs.
That gives it a reassuringly substantial feel without placing it at the extreme end of vintage bass weights.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Sanox Eagle Bass Copy is particularly well suited to players who enjoy unusual vintage-style instruments, collectors of lesser-known brands and bassists looking for something different from the usual Fender-inspired designs.
It should also appeal to players who specifically enjoy the punch and body of split-coil pickups but want more tonal variety than a conventional single-pickup Precision-style bass.
PLAYING STYLES & APPLICATIONS
The Sanox Eagle should work particularly well for:
-
Rock
-
Classic rock
-
Blues
-
Indie
-
Alternative
-
Garage rock
-
Punk
-
General-purpose bass playing
-
Pick playing
-
Fingerstyle
The dual split-coil format should lend itself particularly well to strong, defined rock and rhythm-section sounds.
HOW IT COMPARES
Dual Split-Coil vs Standard Precision Bass
A traditional Precision Bass uses a single split-coil pickup.
This Sanox uses two stock split-coil pickups, providing an additional bridge-position voice and greater tonal flexibility.
Eagle-Style Bass vs Fender-Style Bass
A Fender-style bass usually follows either the Precision or Jazz body format.
The Eagle-inspired design gives the Sanox a more unusual visual identity and a distinctly different vintage aesthetic.
Split-Coil vs Jazz-Style Single Coil
Split-coil pickups generally provide a thicker, punchier midrange response than narrow Jazz-style single coils.
The Sanox doubles down on that character by using split coils in both pickup positions.

FAIR DEAL MUSIC EXPERT VERDICT ★★★★★
Best suited for: Players and collectors looking for an unusual vintage-style bass with a genuinely uncommon stock pickup configuration.
Customers usually upgrade from: Entry-level vintage-style basses, conventional Precision copies and more familiar Japanese or Korean catalogue instruments.
Most commonly paired with: Clean bass amplifiers, compression, overdrive and straightforward vintage-style rigs.
Our tip: Spend time comparing the two split-coil positions individually. The bridge pickup should provide considerably more definition, while the middle pickup should deliver the broader, fuller split-coil sound most players will recognise.
Showroom feedback: The unusual thing here is not simply the Eagle-inspired styling — it is the fact that both split-coil pickups are stock. That gives this Sanox a genuinely distinctive specification rather than making it just another visually unusual vintage copy.
