What Makes The Schecter C-1 Hydro-Dip Special?
The Golden Eclipse Hydro-Dip finish gives this C-1 a striking visual identity, while the mahogany body and carved top contour provide the foundation for a substantial, performance-focused instrument. Black neck binding and satin black hardware add further contrast and reinforce the guitar’s modern aesthetic.
The thin “C” maple neck, 14" fingerboard radius and 24 jumbo frets are designed for comfortable contemporary playing, while the dual Schecter Radio Active pickups provide a powerful amplified voice. A fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body construction keeps the setup straightforward and stable for players who prefer a non-tremolo design.
Who Is It For?
The C-1 Hydro-Dip Golden Eclipse is an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced players looking for a modern double-cut electric guitar with a fast neck, powerful humbuckers and standout styling.
Its 25.5" scale length, 24-fret layout and fixed bridge make it particularly appealing to players working in rock, metal, hard rock, progressive and alternative styles, while the simple master volume, master tone and three-way pickup selector layout keeps operation intuitive.
Why Choose A Modern Double-Cut Electric Guitar?
A modern double-cut design offers comfortable access to the upper register, making it well suited to lead playing, extended fretboard work and technical styles. The 24-fret neck gives players a full two-octave range on each string, while the relatively flat 14" radius supports bends, fast runs and lower-action setups.
The Tune-O-Matic bridge and string-through-body construction also provide a straightforward fixed-bridge platform for players who value simplicity and dependable tuning stability.
