Can it work with an optional TC-Helicon microphone?

Yes. Compatible TC-Helicon microphones such as the MP-75 can provide additional remote effect control through the Mic Control function.

Can guitar effects pedals still be used?

Yes. Guitar effects are best connected after the Harmony Singer's guitar Thru output, so the Harmony Singer receives a clean guitar signal for accurate chord detection.
