Universal Audio UAFX Starlight Echo Station Delay Pedal – Used
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Universal Audio UAFX Starlight Echo Station is a premium stereo delay pedal designed to recreate some of the most celebrated tape, bucket-brigade and studio digital delay sounds in a rugged pedalboard format.
This used example is in Good condition, with cosmetic signs of previous ownership and normal pedalboard use. Its Tape EP-III, Analog DMM and Precision engines cover everything from warm, worn tape echoes and rich analogue repeats to pristine modern digital delay, while stereo processing, tap tempo, modulation and preset functionality make it equally capable for straightforward rigs and sophisticated ambient setups.
What Makes the UAFX Starlight Echo Station Stand Out?
Tape EP-III
The Tape EP-III engine recreates the character of classic early-'70s tape echo hardware, including tape wear, wow and flutter, saturation and the character of the original preamp circuitry. Three variations provide different machine and tape conditions from cleaner to increasingly worn and warbled.
Analog DMM
The Analog DMM mode captures the warm repeats, modulation and distinctive character associated with classic bucket-brigade analogue delay hardware. It can move from smooth vintage echoes through to chorus, vibrato and self-oscillating textures.
Precision Digital Delay
Precision provides clear, studio-style digital repeats with extended delay times and modern modulation options. It is ideal for rhythmic delay, wide stereo textures and clean atmospheric sounds.
Stereo Dual-Engine Processing
The Starlight uses powerful dual-engine processing to create separate stereo instances of its delay algorithms, providing a wide spatial image when used with a stereo amplifier or recording setup.
Preset & Live Modes
Live mode follows the physical knob settings, while Preset mode allows a favourite sound to be stored and recalled from the pedal.
Who Is It For?
The Starlight Echo Station is ideal for guitarists who want high-quality vintage and modern delay sounds without relying on a large multi-effects processor.
It particularly suits ambient, indie, alternative, progressive, blues, rock and studio guitar work, while its stereo operation, tap tempo and MIDI capabilities make it equally attractive for more advanced pedalboard systems.

Power Requirements
The Universal Audio UAFX Starlight Echo Station requires an isolated 9V DC centre-negative power supply capable of providing at least 400mA.
A suitable isolated supply is important because the Starlight is a high-performance digital effects processor and requires considerably more current than many traditional analogue pedals.
No power supply is included with this used pedal.
